BPSC TRE 4.0 Exam Date 2026: Latest Update
BPSC has not announced the BPSC TRE 4.0 exam date yet. As of 1 November 2026, the online application is still open until 3 November 2026, and the exam date will be given in a separate notice on bpsc.bihar.gov.in.

BPSC TRE 4.0 Exam Date: Latest Update
BPSC has not released the TRE 4.0 exam schedule. The application deadline was first 26 October 2026 and was extended to 3 November 2026, with the fee due by 2 November. The exam date is usually announced after the application window closes.
Some websites still show “22–27 September 2026” as the TRE 4.0 exam date. That was an early estimate published before the notification, and it is out of date. Trust only the notice on the BPSC website.

Exam Dates of Past BPSC TRE Rounds
Here is how long BPSC took between closing applications and holding the exam in earlier rounds:

In the first three rounds, the exam came between about 2.5 and 5 weeks after applications closed. BPSC can still take longer, as the TRE 3.0 re-exam shows.
What to Expect for TRE 4.0
The points below are our expectation based on past rounds, not an official schedule:
- BPSC is likely to announce the exam schedule some time after applications close on 3 November 2026.
- If BPSC follows the gap of earlier rounds, the exam could be held from late November 2026 onwards. It may also be later, depending on BPSC’s calendar and other exams.
- As in past rounds, different class levels are likely to be held on different days and in different sittings.
Do not plan your preparation around a guessed date. Prepare as if the exam could be a few weeks away.
BPSC TRE 4.0 Admit Card
BPSC releases the admit card on its online portal a few days before the exam. You will download it by logging in with your registration details. The admit card shows your exam centre, date, sitting and reporting time, along with the exam-day instructions.
Check your name, photo, class level and subject on the admit card as soon as you download it. If anything is wrong, contact BPSC right away using the details given in the notice.
What to Do Now
- Finish your application if you have not done so. Pay the fee by 2 November and submit by 3 November 2026.
- Learn the exam pattern. There are 150 questions in 2 hours 30 minutes. The language part is qualifying, and GS and your subject decide your merit.
- Go through the syllabus. Use our BPSC TRE syllabus page to plan subject by subject.
- Solve previous year papers. Start with the BPSC TRE 3.0 General Studies papers, which every candidate takes.
- Set a target score. Look at the previous BPSC TRE cut-offs for your class level and category.
- Take timed mocks every week, and revise your mistakes.
