What a BPSC TRE App Must Have

BPSC TRE is not the same as BPSC CCE, so a general BPSC app is not enough. In TRE 3.0, every class level had one paper of 150 questions in 2 hours 30 minutes, split into three parts. A good TRE app should cover all three:

  • Part I: Language (qualifying). 30 questions. You must clear it, or the rest of your paper is not evaluated.
  • Part II: General Studies. 120 questions for Class 1–5 and 40 questions for Class 6–12. GS is common to everyone and often decides your rank.
  • Part III: Your subject. 80 questions for Class 6–12. This carries the most weight for secondary and higher secondary posts.

Beyond that, look for:

  • Mocks for your class level. A Class 1–5 mock and a Class 11–12 mock are very different papers.
  • TRE previous year papers. TRE 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 papers show the real level and BPSC’s style of options, including “More than one of the above” and “None of the above”.
  • Bihar GK and current affairs. Bihar-related questions come up regularly in the GS part.
  • Hindi and English. Most TRE aspirants write in Hindi, so both languages should be properly supported.

2. Adda247

Adda247 has one of the widest ranges of BPSC TRE 4.0 products. It sells separate test series for most subjects and class levels, such as Class 11–12 mathematics, physics, history and home science, along with live batches for Class 1–5, 6–8, 9–10 and 11–12.

Good for: Class 9–12 aspirants who want many subject-specific mocks.

Keep in mind: you usually need to buy a separate test series for your subject, so check exactly what is included before paying.

3. PW (Physics Wallah)

PW has a teaching exams section with BPSC TRE batches. If you already follow PW teachers, its low-cost batches give you a fixed timetable and recorded classes in one place.

Good for: aspirants who want a guided batch at a low price.

Keep in mind: batches follow a fixed schedule, and practice tests depend on the batch you buy.

4. Khan Global Studies

Khan Global Studies, the platform of the Patna-based teacher Khan Sir, is one of the best-known names among Bihar aspirants. It offers BPSC TRE courses taught mainly in Hindi.

Good for: Hindi medium aspirants who learn best from video classes and want a Bihar-focused teaching style.

Keep in mind: it is built around courses, so you may still want a separate app for daily mocks and PYQ practice.

5. Drishti Learning App

The Drishti Learning App has a teaching exams section alongside its civil services courses, with courses and practice tests for central and state teaching exams, including BPSC TRE.

Good for: Hindi medium aspirants who already trust Drishti’s study material.

Keep in mind: the app covers many exams, so make sure the TRE course you choose matches your class level and subject.

Which App Should You Choose?

  • Class 1–5: GS is 120 of the 150 questions, so daily GS practice matters most. ExamYaari’s free mocks and current affairs cover this, and Premium adds PYQ practice.
  • Class 6–12, low budget: ExamYaari for GS mocks and current affairs (free) and PYQs (Premium), plus your own subject books and past subject papers.
  • Class 6–12, can pay for subject mocks: add Adda247’s test series for your subject.
  • You want video classes: PW, Khan Global Studies or Drishti.

Do not collect apps. One app for daily practice and one source for your subject is enough if you use them every day.

How to Use a TRE App Before the Exam

  1. Solve TRE 3.0 papers first. Take the paper for your class level, untimed, to see where you stand.
  2. Clear Part I early. Give language about an hour a day for two weeks so the qualifying part never becomes a risk.
  3. Practise GS daily. Read current affairs for 20–30 minutes and solve a short GS quiz every day.
  4. Take full mocks in 150 minutes. One a week at first, then every other day in the last few weeks.
  5. Keep an error notebook. Write down every wrong answer and revise it before your next mock.

It depends on your class level and budget. ExamYaari is a strong low-cost choice: GS mocks and current affairs are free, and PYQs and AI analytics come with Premium at ₹29 a month. Adda247 has the widest range of paid subject-wise test series. PW, Khan Global Studies and Drishti are popular for video classes.

Is there a free app for BPSC TRE mock tests?

Yes. ExamYaari offers free timed BPSC TRE mock tests with no ads. AI analytics of your weak areas come with Premium at ₹29 a month. Most other apps offer a few free tests and charge for the full series.

Which app is best for BPSC TRE Class 1–5?

For Class 1–5, General Studies makes up 120 of the 150 questions, so choose an app with plenty of GS practice, Bihar GK and current affairs. ExamYaari’s free mocks and current affairs cover these, and Premium adds PYQ practice.

Which app is best for BPSC TRE Class 9–12 subject preparation?

Adda247 sells separate test series for most Class 9–10 and 11–12 subjects. Use it with your graduation-level subject books and past TRE subject papers.

Can I prepare for BPSC TRE 4.0 using only an app?

An app helps with mocks, PYQs and current affairs, but you also need NCERT and Bihar Board textbooks for basics, and your subject books for Class 6–12.

Is a BPSC CCE app enough for BPSC TRE?

Not fully. The GS part overlaps, but TRE also has a qualifying language part and, for Class 6–12, a subject part. Make sure your app has TRE-specific mocks and papers.
